Welder Underground is a paid apprenticeship program that connects emerging welders and metal fabricators with a career in welding and metal fabrication. We deliver hands-on learning that combines creative practice, technical skill, and professional development to prepare apprentices for a sustainable career in fabrication and related trades.

We welcome collaboration across a range of possibilities: joint projects, public art, curriculum co-design, mentorship, residency placements, sponsorship, and community initiatives.
